Lori S. Rardon

LORI S. RARDON is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.

Ms. Rardon is a registered patent attorney and has experience preparing and prosecuting patent, trademark and copyright applications in the U.S. and abroad. She has experience in organic, inorganic and polymer chemistry as well as pharmaceutical areas of technology. 

In addition, Ms. Rardon handles patent and trademark searches, patentability opinions, trademark clearance and registration opinions, patent infringement and validity opinions, intellectual property litigation, confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements, trademark cancellation complaints, Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution complaints, and general intellectual property counseling.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Rardon was a research/development chemist for a Fortune 500 coatings, chemicals and glass company, where she was responsible for developing coatings based on a variety of polymer chemistries. She is a named inventor on patents related to her work.

Ms. Rardon received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the Duquesne University School of Law, concentrating in Intellectual Property law and was the recipient of the Excellence for the Future Award for legal research and writing. She earned her M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, where she concentrated on colloids, polymers and surfaces. Ms. Rardon has a B.A. in Chemistry from Washington and Jefferson College.

Ms. Rardon is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is a member of the American and Allegheny County Bar Associations; the American Intellectual Property Law Association; and the Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association.
