Robert J. Monahan
ROBERT J. MONAHAN is an associate in the Business Group of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.
Mr. Monahan has a broad base of experience representing privately held entities with a wide variety of matters including acquisitions and mergers, employment issues, agency relations, service agreements, internal reorganizations, financial reorganization, commercial agreements and day-to-day counseling.
Matters representative of Mr. Monahan’s experience include:
- Representation of multi-location business in the negotiation and drafting of agency agreement with national entity.
- Representing creditors against claims of violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA).
- Initiation and drafting of documentation for a medical institution’s educational financing matters.
- Negotiating and drafting loan restructuring agreements, forbearance agreements and initial finance agreements.
- Representing financial creditors in bankruptcy matters.
- Representation of owner in negotiation of sale of business financed by owner.
Mr. Monahan received his J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he provided legal services to indigent clients through the school’s Health Law Clinic. He earned his B.A. degree at Ithaca College.
He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia and before the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Southern District of West Virginia.
