Michael Magee

MICHAEL MAGEE is a partner with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP and Chair of its Litigation Defense/Toxic Tort Practice Group. He is also a member of the Commercial Litigation and Construction Practice Groups.

Mr. Magee has more than fifteen years of experience defending toxic tort cases in various jurisdictions throughout the country.  He currently represents several manufacturers, contractors and engineers in asbestos litigation in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maine and has served as national coordinating counsel in defense of toxic tort claims brought against construction and engineering firms.

In addition to his toxic tort work, Mr. Magee also has broad experience in the areas of commercial litigation and general business matters.  He  advises clients on matters pertaining to commercial construction, real estate, complex commercial issues, shareholder issues, formation of business entities and other general business issues.  He has counseled several real estate development and management companies and is former economic development counsel to a county redevelopment authority in connection with a variety of commercial and real estate matters. 

Mr. Magee received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Magee served as assistant executive director for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter.

He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
