Grant H. Hackley
GRANT H. HACKLEY is an associate in the Product Liability, Risk Management and Qui Tam Practice Groups of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP.
Mr. Hackley focuses his practice on products liability law, and has a diverse range of experience in malpractice, personal injury and civil rights law. He has experience handling both plaintiff and defense claims in the products liability field, on professional liability matters, and insurance litigation.
Mr. Hackley is a former Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Bernard L. McGinley of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hackley also completed internships with the Honorable Chief Justice Ralph J. Cappy for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the American Civil Liberties Union’s Greater Pittsburgh Chapter and the University of Pittsburgh’s Family Law Clinic.
Mr. Hackley received his J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was Editor in Chief of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and the recipient of the Law School Faculty’s Student Leadership Award. Mr. Hackley received his B.S. in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland. He also received graduate training in Physiology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.
Mr. Hackley is licensed in Pennsylvania and West Virginia and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Hackley is a member of the American, the Pennsylvania, the Allegheny County and the West Virginia Bar Associations. Mr. Hackley has presented seminars on topics ranging from electronic discovery to professionalism in the legal community. He was also recently selected for inclusion in the Allegheny County Bar Association's Bar Leadership Initiative Class for 2009-2010. He is an advisory board member of Venture Outdoors. Mr. Hackley is a member of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh and the Beth El Congregation of Pittsburgh.
