Douglas K. Rosenblum

DOUGLAS K. ROSENBLUM is a litigation associate and Certified Fraud Examiner in the Philadelphia office of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick and Raspanti, LLP.  He is a member of the White Collar Criminal Defense, Federal and State Qui Tam Litigation and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rosenblum served as a commercial litigation associate at a well-respected law firm in Philadelphia and was an Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.  At the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Rosenblum served in the pretrial and major crimes units before becoming the Captain of the Firearms Unit of the Trials Division.  In that capacity, Mr. Rosenblum was sworn as a Special Assistant United States Attorney prosecuting violent criminals in federal court under Project Safe Neighborhoods.  Mr. Rosenblum has received commendations for successfully prosecuting criminal defendants for charges ranging from theft and burglary to robbery and murder.

Mr. Rosenblum served as the Co-Chair of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Summer Intern Program and has served as both Chair and Vice-Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Rules of Criminal Court Committee.  Mr. Rosenblum has also served as an arbitrator in the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County.

Community involvement and charitable work is of great importance to Mr. Rosenblum.  He volunteers as an attorney for abused and neglected children through the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project.  Mr. Rosenblum is the Founder of the Hedda L. Komins Fund for Breast Cancer Research and Prevention at Fox Chase Cancer Center and has previously served on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit corporation supporting athletics and education.  Mr. Rosenblum is an International Fitness Association certified instructor and an avid rower.

Mr. Rosenblum received his B.S. in Accountancy, magna cum laude, with a minor in Spanish, from Villanova University.  He received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where he was a member of the Environmental Law Journal and National Mock Trial Team and received the David E. Worby Scholarship for Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Rosenblum is admitted to practice in all state courts within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
